West Suburban Milwaukee members generously support our mission to advance equity for all women. Education is key to achieving that goal. ‘Shares’ is a program that offers members an opportunity to donate directly to our local scholarship program. The money collected provides six scholarships annually to local colleges and universities. Funds are also awarded to the organization ‘PEARLS for Teen Girls’ to help with their educational activities. In addition, scholarships are occasionally provided to students to attend the annual state conference. We also support various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities for younger students.

In addition to individual donations to ‘Shares’, fund raising events are held throughout the year including the Author Tea and Spring Style Show. ‘Shares’ is also funded by our business associates: cabi, Shady Lane Greenhouses, Travel More. You can support these vendors by mentioning our branch name – West Suburban – Milwaukee when making purchases. Other businesses are welcomed and encouraged to join our efforts.
