Recommend: chairperson or co-chairs along with 2-3 members
In the fall/winter communicate with all board positions on their plans for the upcoming year:
- determine which Executive Board positions are in their second year and may need replacement.
- Identify which Committee chair positions need to be filled for the next year.
Once the positions to be filled are identified, notify the membership of the positions that will need to be filled for the upcoming year.
Notification can be made with announcements at monthly meetings and with articles in The Post Graduate. Slides in the monthly PowerPoints can also be included. If no volunteers come forward, the Committee will then identify potential candidates through the “Interest and Skills” data compiled by the Membership VP and through discussions with the Executive Board and Committee Chairs.
It is also the responsibility of the Nominations Committee Chairperson to conduct the election of officers at the April meeting.
