May 9, 2025 Milwaukee Symphony

Let your imagination get energized as you listen to the captivating program, led by Music Director Ken-David Masur, entitled, “Pines of Rome.” Each of the four movements depicts a setting in Rome with pine trees: the Villa Borghese gardens, near a catacomb, on Janiculum Hill, and the Appian Way.

11:15 a.m. matinee
Tickets: $39.00 each
9:45 a.m. Car Pooling from Brookfield Square (near Chick-Fil-A)
Lunch afterwards at the Ambassador hotel. Lunch at your own expense

March 27, 2025 Women of the Pabst Tour

A guided tour of The Pabst Mansion, 2000 W. Wisconsin Ave., at the discounted rate of $13 per person. Maximum capacity for this outing is 22 people. We will have time to shop or watch a brief, historical video. Lockers are available for any purses/bags larger than 5” by 7”. We’ll walk next door to the Mansion for the one hour guided tour.

March is Women’s History Month and Milwaukee’s outstanding late 19ᵗʰ century house museum will be celebrating all month with its popular, annual guided tour highlighting the women who lived there, women who created or were featured in its art, and the ones who provided services.

February 25, 2025  11a.m. – 2 p.m. – Tour of Mount Mary University 

On Tuesday, February 25th, AAUW Members will plan to visit Mt. Mary University and learn how courses and programs have evolved and improved over more than a 100-year period into an established institution that is future-focused upon the needs of our ever-changing world. The tour will include the areas of health care, technology, fashion and design, along with virtual reality. We will also see where students can go to reflect, balance, and nurture their mind and soul, creating an atmosphere for personal growth which is an ultimate priority for this institution. In the afternoon, for those who may be interested, we will visit Trinity Woods, a senior intergenerational living community where students, children, retired staff, and others live and thrive on this beautiful campus.
